How it works
In 6 steps, we will explain how running an online raffle on Raffaly works for partners, ticket buyers, and eventual winners.
1. A partner creates a raffle
The partner will create a raffle and provide information about the one or more prizes that can be won, including photos/videos, a description, and a ticket price. They will also choose how many tickets are available, how much they cost, and when the raffle will end. Once approved by Raffaly, it will available for ticket sales.
2. The raffle will run
The raffle will remain open until the specified end date, allowing entrants to purchase raffle tickets throughout the duration. To be eligible, each entrant must answer a question for legal purposes. Every correct answer will be entered into the final anonymous draw. Upon successful purchase, each entrant will see their tickets in their account or through a unique link that will be provided. At this time, Raffaly holds all ticket sales.
3. The raffle ends and an automated draw is done
The raffle ends either when all tickets are sold or the specified end date is reached. Raffaly will notify all ticket buyers once the raffle has ended. An automated draw takes place 15 minutes after the raffle ends. Raffaly will then notify all ticket buyers to let them know whether they have won or not.
4. Partner and winners communication
The partner hosting the raffle will be provided with the winners' contact details, and the winners will receive the partner's contact information. This information is also accessible through Raffaly accounts. Please ensure you address how the partner will deliver the prize to the winner.
5. Prize acceptance
Upon receiving the prize, the winner should verify that it matches the description. After review, they can "accept" the prize through their account or unique link. If the winner disagrees with the prize, they have the option to dispute it. The outcome of the dispute will be determined by Raffalys' disputes team.
6. Partners can withdraw there money
Once the prize is accepted, we notify the partner via email. Additionally, we deposit the ticket revenue into the partner's Raffaly account, at which point they can withdraw the funds.
