Social deduction in the shadow of the Minster
8th - 10th August 2025
Would you make a good traitor? Can you tell when people are lying?
Demons Wake is a York-based social deduction gaming convention filled with mystery, deception, and strategy.
If you've ever played Clocktower, Werewolf, Among Us, Secret Hitler, Avalon, or watched The Traitors, then you know that social deduction gaming is all about deciding who you can trust. Can you conceal your identity from your friends? Or will you fool everyone that you're good and then commit the ultimate betrayal?
Whether you're an experienced master of deception or a newcomer eager to try hidden role gaming, Demons Wake offers the perfect setting to play, connect, and enjoy yourself.
The weekend will feature special guests, scheduled sessions, a board games library, and plenty of open gaming space.
Demons Wake promises to be friendly, inclusive, and joyful so come and join us in celebrating our hobby of hunting for werewolves, demons and traitors!
